Spellex Spell Check Applet
Add a spelling checker to HTML forms with the Spellex Spell Check Applet!
Give your Web users the ability to check their spelling prior to
submission. The Spellex Spell Check Applet checks the spelling of
text entered in TextAreas in HTML forms. The Applet works with
Netscape® Navigator and Internet Explorer.
It runs entirely on the client, so it's compatible with any Web
server (even rented Web space and space provided by ISPs) and won't
consume server resources with spelling-check requests. No server
programming or modifications required!
The Spellex Spell Check Applet comes with American and UK English
dictionaries only. Specialty Spellex dictionaries (such as Spellex
Medical) are NOT supported by the Spell Checking
Applet.
Licensing
The License permits you to use the Applet on an
unlimited number of pages on a single Web site (www.yourDomain.com). The Applet can be used by an

How hard is it to use?
Using the Spellex Spell Check Applet with an HTML form involves a
little JavaScript programming. The Applet comes with example HTML
pages you can use as starting points for your own forms, or you can
copy JavaScript code from the examples to your pages. The simplest
example adds a spelling checker to a form with just five lines of JavaScript!
The Applet includes more advanced examples that show how to save the
user dictionary and spelling-checker options in a browser cookie,
edit the user dictionary, and set spelling-checker options.
